A family sets out for a picnic at the beach, complete with fishing gear
and straw hats. Labaudts young nephew, Bill Chamberlain, brings
a dog whose nose points at a pyramid of people, with sculptor Robert
Howard at the top playing a harmonica. Labaudts younger daughter,
Theresa, is playing guitar. His fresco assistants Arnold Bray and Farrell
Dwyer watch as his older daughter, Alvyne, cuts a watermelon. Visible
in the background are the Marin Headlands.
